The task was to design a small apartment building with at least four rental units, each with a compact garden and parking on the plot. The placement of the building was strongly shaped by the required distances from neighbouring houses. The edge facing Na Kotli Street was defined by the existing street line.
The aim was for every apartment to have its own comfort: a private garden, a private entrance and a varied apartment structure. Another goal was to provide parking within the plot without costly underground garages. The result is a two-storey apartment building with five apartments: two studios and three three-room units.
The studios are located on the ground floor of the wider part of the house. The entrance zone with a wardrobe contains the bathroom, while the living rooms open to small private gardens. A three-room apartment occupies the upper floor of the wider part and has a west-facing terrace instead of a garden. The remaining units are accessed independently from the southern part of the house.
